Energetic Integrity and Responsibility in treatment practice of the highest order.
In honour of the intimate nature of the Esoteric Breast Massage treatment and the role the reflection of the practitioner’s living quality plays in the treatment, only women are accepted for training in the EBM and only women deliver training in or practice the EBM.
Professionalism for the EBM practitioner takes on a far broader and responsible meaning when founded on the principles of energetic integrity and energetic responsibility. The EBM Practitioner understands that the way she lives is energetically present in her body as she enters the treatment room, is present in her words as she speaks with the client and is present in her hands as she places them on the woman. She is trained to be acutely aware that anything she leaves unresolved in her own life will impact the quality of reflection she offers the women she works with and in effect she must walk the talk in the true sense of the phrase. Thus, and in accordance with the EPA Code of Ethics and Conduct, the EBM practitioner is required to live in a non-harming way toward both herself and others, such that she commits to the constant evolution of her own development of a living way of love. |
A key component of EBM training is the understanding that the EBM is not practiced in replacement of conventional medical care and in fact, EBM practitioners find that their role can often be the bridging of the woman back to responsible health care choices that include conventional medical screening or treatment, where once the woman may have been fearful of doing so.
The EBM is a modality practiced in true complement to conventional medical care, a modality that addresses the choices that a woman makes in her life that influence or contribute to the quality of her breast and overall health and well-being, and is increasingly recognized as doing so by a growing number of medical practitioners and health care professionals. |
